The last government shutdown was 18 years ago in 1995.
Anyone who has worked for the government is familiar with requisitions, bidding, awarding contracts etc. It is a time consuming process. Even the simplest request takes months not days or hours.
Miraculously, in less than 8 hours of the 2013 shutdown, tens of thousands professionally printed 3X4 foot signs with custom logos appeared all over the country saying- this park, this facility, etc. is closed due to government shutdown. These signs were designed, specifications were determined, signs were then requisitioned, bids were posted and government contracts were awarded. The materials were then ordered and the signs manufactured then distributed though U.S. Mails or freight companies to their proper destination.
This current shutdown had to have been orchestrated and planned well in advance, of at least 6-8 months ago. Millions of tax dollars were appropriated and spent in this process. And if they had come to an agreement and avoided the shutdown 14 days ago, millions of OUR tax money would have been wasted once again. There must be a paper trail a mile long leading directly to the White House.
Come to think of it Joe Biden has not been seen or heard from in a long time. He has been almost entirely out of the picture.Perhaps he has been too busy working on these signs.
Certainly makes you wonder what other project(s) using our money has been frivolously wasted and ended up getting thrown in the trash.
