Chase is migrating its credit cards from MasterCard to VISA

If you have a Chase MasterCard (for example, Chase Freedom), look for a chip-and-PIN VISA card in your mailbox soon. All Chase MasterCards will be deactivated by mid-January 2015. However, you will be able to continue using your current MasterCard until then.
