Note To Ken: Edit Function Appears Disabled

While not a huge issue, until recently, when I posted a comment, I was able to edit. No longer. This helped when I made a simple spelling error, for example. Is this just a glitch?

Too funny. It popped back up on this thread, but is disabled on others.

From what I can tell it works for a little while after you make a post but then goes away.

That's true Bozo. You have to do the edit immediately and only have so much time or if you retry, it won't go through. I have found it to be like that ever since I have been on DA. You can't post and then return later to edit. Especially if you see your error after you have left the post. Your time will be up and the edit won't go through. I find that very aggravating about the way it works. Maybe Ken can fix it to work longer.

FWIW, placement of a time limit on internet post edits is commonplace. I run into this all the time on other websites. An hour, IMO, is a good and fair amount of time within which to allow edits. Those not ready to proofread and edit should wait and post later when time becomes available to them.
