Hi,

I migrated to Canada for educational purpose. I have some doubts regarding the tax payments here. I have heard that every international student is required to file a tax return as a condition of the visa, but not everyone pays taxes to the government. I don't know whether this information is wrong. Can anyone help me to know the tax rules regarding international students?

Is it better to approach a company offering tax relief services in Toronto? In my search, I found a company. But, I am not clear about their services. If you have a previous experience with them, please share the details. Or if you have any suggestion regarding the company, let me know that too. Thank you.
