Hi I am having a hard time cashing a check I received from a settlement and I have moved out of California to Oklahoma. I only use prepaid cars for my pay from my company is there anything I can do

You haven't really given enough information. I suppose we should presume there is a reason why you can't open a bank account, because if not, then you could use that check to open one.

The amount of check makes a difference.

You should be able to cash it at the back it was issued on. Contact them, ask how you can do that. IF they have no branch near you, you might have a trip in your future if that is a large check.

You might find a friend whose back will take it if you sign the check over to them. But check that out thoroughly first, and in fact, only do the sing-over at the bank with them, so you don't sing it over and later get a different story. Some banks will take a third-party check, but again, the amount can make a difference.

Have you contacted the issuer of your prepaid card? You might be able to deposit the check to that.

You also can contact the entity that paid out to you -- possibly they will agree to issue to you in another form you can deal with.
