Northwest FCU Gets A New CEO/President

There has been a changing of the guard at Northwest Federal Credit Union, Jeff Bentley is taking over as the new CEO and president.

With new leadership, one will always have to wonder about what changes might be in the works. NW FCU has often had a top rate offering, but we will see if the continues.

I got the notice in e-mail today, below:

Greetings Northwest Federal Members,

I am honored to announce that I have been selected by Northwest Federal’s Board of Directors as your new President and CEO. It is a privilege to represent this organization and you, our members. I look forward to serving your financial needs, fostering smart, secure growth for our Credit Union, and strengthening the bonds Northwest Federal has in the community.

I would also like to announce that Lisa Miller has retired from our Board of Directors and the Board has selected former Board member Dawn Eilenberger to serve in her place. We wish Ms. Miller the best in her future endeavors and thank her for her dedicated service to Northwest Federal.

Northwest Federal does not seem interested in promptly communicating important developments to its owner-members.

NWFCU is one of the few financial institutions offering no EWP for partial withdrawals from IRA CDs for those over 59 1/2. The other two are StateFarmBank and PenFed. Patelco is problematic (see my posts).
