As many DA readers know, Lending Tree bought Ken's blog some time back. The blog hasn't missed a beat, nor has Lending Tree. For your joke of the year, check out TREE on Morningstar. Go to the value at the start of 2017. Check out the close.

Funny anecdote. My wife worked for Barry Diller many years ago. One of the "perks" was being able to buy shares in IAC. I could never understand why buying shares in your employer's company was considered a perquisite, but she did buy a few thousand shares. Spin-off (times ten, it seems). After a round of spin-offs, my wife wound up with four (count 'em 4) shares of TREE, valued at $16/share. She also wound up with a mind-numbing amount of shares in other spin-offs, but TREE is the funniest.
