Why Isn't INOVA CU 14-Month CD At 2.30% In CD Rate Tables?

Ken, I was just checking the CD rate tables, for 1-year and 18-months. Neither has the 14-month CD at 2.30% APY being offered by INOVA CU. It was in there in the past week, but it is not in there now.

And I just checked at INOVA, they are still offering it.

While we're at it, I also never saw Pacific City Bank (in Los Angeles) in the listings in the rate tables, and until recently they were offering an 18-month CD at 2.5% (that promo has now ended). Is that because they don't post their interest rates online?

That 2.30% was in February. It's now 2.05% on the site.

The regular yield for the 14-month CD is 2.05%.
With new money, and a $50,000 minimum, the yield is 2.30%.

Last I checked, alan1 is correct. The 2.3% APY does require a minimum of $50,000 new money.

It's there now in the "1-year CD" category.

Yes, the DA rate chart has the other 14-month INOVA CD at 2.05% in its 1-years listings. But it is not picking up the other 14-month CD at 2.30% APY right below that 2.05% one in INOVA's rate chart at:

One month, the NASA 2.25% 11 month was not listed in either the under 1 year or the 1 year table. I think its there now but it might have been because of the $25k minimum too.

With the NASA, I have to be careful because if, when the deal ends, new deals will almost certainly require at least $20k in new money. Im at $210k now but if I were to buy another one, and want to renew them when they expire, I would have to add $20k in new money to each one. Or transfer it out & back in I guess. Im considering going up to the $250k max anyway because I have some CDs expiring soon that I have to put somewhere. I currently have 4 rewards checking accounts and that is too many too. 2 of them only pay 2% on $15k. I will probably close them soon but I still have to do something with more CDs in May & June.

Finally, I may just go over on the $250k insurance limit at Nasa because their financial strength.

4 reward checking accounts is just too darn many. Especially when 2 of them only pay 2%.
