I was impressed. Just joined up last week, and had a question or two. The phone tree is relatively simple, and the CSR (who answered on the first ring) helpful.

First impressions are important. NFCU gets two thumbs up.

I just joined last month myself. I spoke with CSR on phone and visited closest branch. Extremely kind and knowledgeable on both ends. I would give it 5 stars myself. Big thanks to this web site for helping me discover their great rates!

I joined several years ago and have both IRA and regular CDs there. I've contacted them twice recently through the online chat to ask specific details about Early Withdrawal Penalties, etc. and both times I was given careful and polite answers, including a link to disclosures. Also dealt through phone CSRs this week; again, the CSRs each time were well trained, thorough and pleasant.

I just joined and agree with the 3 prior posts . Everyone at the NY branch were very polite and everything went well. Extremely knowledgeable about well retirees needs. Thank you girls for the nice experience.
