I have a bunch of money over at KEESLER, and they have had some good rates.
But you know what ..... it's just not worth it.
I started trying to get a new HIMMA-PLUS account opened up. They force you into the NEW ACCOUNTS and treat you as if you have NEVER had an account with them. NOT a simple process. ( I have 5 accounts, and IRA money at Keesler .... but a new account is like landing on the dark side of the moon)
I started that on the 9th.
FINALLY got the share opened up around the 11th, and had a wire from ALLY to them on the 12th.
They acknowledged the wire receipt on the 16th, and never looked into my record at my previous 5 communications to fund the HIMMA. AND no, you cannot do it yourself. So I have made more than half a dozen telephone calls to get this account established, and then again today (Feb 17) to get the wired funds into my HIMMA. I left previous instructions with CS and also their internal email system. DEAF EARS if it involves follow-up on their end.
When my money becomes available, I will be moving it somewhere that is not 10 years behind in their policies, and does not have 20 minute hold times to get into customer service.
KEESLER is not a pleasant experience.
