Credit Union Ratings Updated

Ken has updated his credit union ratings. The ratings now reflect Q4 2020 financial data, which is the most recent available.

Ken is customarily first with this pivotal updating. However, Bauer has at this time also updated their credit union ratings.

Only Weiss remains with credit union ratings based on the old Q3 2020 financial data. Weiss will most likely issue an update within the next one or two weeks.

Bank ratings have also been updated. I don't have money in banks so I don't pay a lot of attention.

Don't new ratings come out at the end of this month? When will ratings be posted using information from first quarter of 2021?

highrate -- ratings using information from the first quarter of 2021 should be available in June or July. The NCUA deadline for filing call reports, for the period ending March 31, 2021, is April 30.

The call reports are likely to be posted on the NCUA website in June 2021; the various raters can't get to work before then.

Thanks Kaight for the posting!

As Kaight has posted, both bank and credit union financial data at DA has been updated with the 2020 Q4 call reports from the FDIC and NCUA. I'll have more on this soon.

You can view the Texas Ratio rankings and search for your bank or credit union financial health at the following page:

Note the date on this thread: March 12, 2021. By that date Ken had already updated his pivotal credit union ratings so that they reflected data from Q4 of 2020, the latest available. Bauer also updated their ratings timely.

Now, finally, all this time later, has come Weiss. Better late than never? I dunno. Tardy as hell for certain. Nevertheless as of this morning Weiss is at long last providing us updated credit union ratings. I have found no shockers . . . . . but you might.
