I know that some folks place great importance on which rater first updates its ratings. (Sometimes Bauer is ahead of the others; sometimes depositaccounts.com is first.)
I don't care about that. When it comes such things, I just don't care about a few days difference.
Of course, the financial data (as distinct from the raters' grades) is first available on the websites of the FDIC and NCUA.)
And, for _my_ purposes as a CD investor, I find Bauer's grades to be more useful than those assigned by its competitors. But I don't give all that much weight to the grades,
