Just a reminder...

For those with NavyFed IRA/Roth IRA CDs, you can add on to them starting tomorrow, January 4th, through April 15th, regardless of if they are add-on CDs or not (as long as doing so doesn't put you past your CD's maximum $$ amount and you don't go over your yearly federal IRA contribution limit).

Again, these are only for IRA CDs (non-IRA CDs can only be added to if they're an Add-On CD).

Just to clarify my situation. I'm retired, I have no earned income so I can't contribute to an IRA.
Are you saying if I have spare money sitting around in an IRA either at Navy or another institution, I can transfer it to any existing IRA CD I have at Navy and get the same (higher) rate even if it's not an add on CD? I'm sure I'm misunderstanding, I don't see anything about this on the Navy website.
I do have an existing Roth add on CD which have added to already but I was dumb and never opened a Traditional one when rates were high and I had the chance.

Yes.
Call NavyFed for details 888-842-6328, ask for the IRA Dept.
