Recent Decrease In Reader Comments On Blog

Has anyone else noticed a decrease in blog comments--especially with respect to the weekly CD rate and Fed/Interest rate columns? Has something changed? Even the contributions from regulars like PD of Wharton are nowhere to be seen.

Take a look at ...why multiple postings with no "substantive" response? https://www.depositaccounts.com/community/news/

Hi Choice: That is helpful--I had missed that post. I do see some but not all of the regulars posting there; Ally without Kate; Sherlock without Holmes; and PD of Wharton nowhere to be found. I however cannot justify the cost of placing the missing contributors on milk cartons in this high inflationary environment.

Oh, I was extremely interested in it. I want to lose as little money as possible with only cds fighting inflation

I actually do not see ‘where’ to post comments on the blog.

I shall do that now. One of them triggered my interest in investigating treasury bills, so I am trying to learn about them in anticipation of some dollars I want to invest for 6 months at some fixed rate while I wait for the Feds to raise interest rates on cds. Thank you

A couple of commenters post items that are off topic, abusive and the same criticisms over and over again. (ex about what is a competitive rate or criticizing Ken).

If you have an idea or notice an issue, a better route may be to send Ken a private message.

The comments section in the past had useful information. Now it seems that it is more for political battles or ridiculing other posters.
