DA Post Editting Trick?

I may have found a workaround:

1) Re-open your post to edit (within the 5-minute-or-so window of editing opportunity)

2) Make your changes — corrections and/or additions

3) Highlight your newly edited entry in its entirety, selecting from first word to last

4) CUT your newly edited text (so the comment field becomes blank)

5) PASTE your cut text back into the comment field, so that it is now displays the fresh version

6) SAVE (click on Save Changes to post)

This trick just worked for me; it might work for you as well. Let us know!

Please tell DA

People have been complaining to DA about the editing for months, I'm fairly certain they are aware of the issue. But if you think they aren't, by all means tell them again. Perhaps one more complaint will be the catalyst for them to finally do something about it. (just don't hold your breath)

For the record, I have lately found the edit function here to be intermittent. Sometimes it works without issue. Other times it does not. You don't know until you try.

Exactly my observation.
