Ever heard that old country saying" That dog wont hunt". well that Pelican credit union just wont fly!

Dec 6th, I reach out to them about how the IRA CD roll over saga was going....the lady says:" Oh we need some more information from you!" Im like, ok, whatever it takes to expedite this thing finally....so I instanly give her what she wanted....My Credit Unions fax number, my email address and even throw in my phone number too for good measure, now keep in mind, this is December 6th and I had to reach out to them, just so they could ask me for more information??? So I began to wonder when would have they finally contacted me for that information, had I not reached out to them?? ....2 years from now?

So today after another week or so of crickets out of them, I call and get in that dreaded lengthy Que of theirs...I tell the lady on the phone all the information she needs for this monkey show and she says "hold on and I will find out"....well I hold and hold and hold, finally she comes back on the phone and says she cant find any information on it and can she have a supervisor call me?

This is Pelican Credit Union which has confirmed to me that its probably just a Mile-or-more bird is disguise

"More information" is usually a deal-killer. Especially in credit unions. Likely means sending your proposed transaction to their underwriter, a man whose income depends on denying transactions (trained on mortgage denials, now broadening his negativity horizons to applicants and savings accounts.)

Probably so! However after stewing over it for a little more yesterday they finally called me back, Lady said shes sending over some docusign paper work to for me fill out and pay for a 15 dollar wire transfer fee and I needed to "hurry" because the 4.97% runs out on Friday, I said wait a min here, I had this in process for a month now and I now need to hurry because your outfit lost the paper work? So I did what they asked for, got it back to them within mins but Im sure they will somehow fumble this too.
Oh for those who dont know what a mileormore bird is, well its like an ostrich, it can bury it head in the sand (very similar to the way Pelican did here) and whistle out its rear-end and you can here it for a mile or more.

Addendum:Yep they fumbled it again, just got a call from them saying I was not eligible for the 4.97% rate because I didn't answer the phone on the 2nd and didnt contact them until the 15th...I said hold on here, in your chat services I gave you all the information you requested on the 6th...I added did you leave a message? the answer was no, I said who answers there phones anymore with all the robo calls...did you reach out with an email to me...sheepisly came a "no"....so I then added your counterpart said it was good till friday if I got the docusign paper work done and you should be able to see it somewhere at Pelican at this very moment
So on one day a rep from pelican says fill out this wire transfer form to get the promised rate, then on the very next day A rep calls and says I cant have the rate and missed the widow of opportunity. So I call again, and while I sit here on hold with Pelican; typing this, the story line is once again, at this very moment changing that my credit Union did in fact send them the paper work on the 6th to transfer my CD.
Not one soul is on the same page at Pelican.
Welcome to the age of "Disfunctional-ism" where apathy and indifference on the job is the norm
