FYI- This bank which just went under rated an A in Financial Health (A+ Texas Ratio, B+ Texas Ratio Trend, A+ Deposit Growth, C- for capitalization). That said, the data reported reflects older data of 2Q22, and it was involved in start up (aka more high risk) investments.

At the end of Q3 2022, Weiss gave this bank a "B" rating, downgraded from "B+" the quarter before. The rating for Q4, year-end 2022, will not be available until later this month. Should be interesting.

A rating of "B" from Weiss is, nevertheless, not an especially poor or worrisome rating.

I just checked Bauer, but not in time. They are too fast for me.

First, Bauer to their credit has already updated its bank star ratings using Q4, end of 2022, data. However:

You can no longer see Bauer's pre-failure rating for SVB. The rating has instead been revised to reflect the bank's having come under FDIC control. Credit to Bauer for being right on top of events. But I wish I could see their Q4 2022 rating for SVB. It would be interesting.
