I notice that docfcu offers cds up to 84 months long. Has anyone tried this credit union that likes it? Also under deposit account's "health rating", can someone tell if if health is rated "A-F" with "F" being the worst, or does the rating go from "A-C" with "C" being the worst? Thank you.

"C" is not the lowest letter in the depositaccounts.com ratings alphabet.

Thank you Alan1. That gives me a better perspective. I want to be a careful investor. By the way, in case you are interested, I put in a request for information on the FDIC site about the address of Seattle Bank, and the FDIC actually sent back a letter. As a matter of fact, so did Seattle Bank. Seattle Bank's address on the Seattle Bank website did not match the address on the FDIC website, and I did not want to send money to some fraudulent people with a fake website.

Alan, thank you again. While I am getting the hang of "bank health", after your response I typed in Schwab bank, since I have a schwab bank brokerage account. Good golly their capitalization gets an "F". Thank you for helping me along the way.

I was able to successfully finally wire bucks and open a cd. All within one day , one email, and one phone call. To me that is a good experience.
