GTE Won't Reset Term For 5 Year Jumbo CD

Tried to get them to reset my CD so the term would begin today. The answer was no. I'd be too scared to try to close it then reopen it.

Did you call in or do it via chat? Chat won't help with anything and are highly inconsistent/contradictory. Try calling into the CD specialist number.

It was through chat, I'll have to try it by phone when I get a chance a little later. It would be nice to get the term reset. Just trying to clean everything up with all this volatility reappearing.
