Random Question About Deposit Timing

If a promotional term states that an account needs to be funded by a certain date, for example if it states deposit "by June 15", would that mean that a check deposit could be made at a branch on June 15 as well, or would it mean that the check deposit would have to be made on June 14 at the latest?

BY A CERTAIN DATE ... means that date is included.
BEFORE A CERTAIN DATE ... means that date NOT included
But for peace of mind, of course call/email/chat and ask them.

I completely agree with your answer, and that is what I had in mind. The promotion in question is the CPC up go $3,000.00 bonus - an email confirming my enrollment stated to deposit by June 15, 2023, and so I sent Chase a secure message asking this same question, and someone responded saying the deposit needs to be made by June 14, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST. I really do not trust that answer, so I will ask my banker to submit an inquiry to upper management to get a definite answer. The deposit is quite a significant amount, and so every day I can save by not depositing is an extra day of interest at the originating bank.
