I recently transferred a Roth to them for the 5 yr 4.85% IRA rate.

I have already had 2 phone calls from them asking me about the

service, if I had any questions about the CD, the rate, or navigating the site etc. Asked if it was OK if they called again to see how things were going in a couple of months? I have been doing CD's since the1970's and IRA's since 1978 and never have I had any bank or credit union call me more than once to make sure everything was satisfactory or if I had any questions or to get me to open another account. Then to even ask if it was OK to call again in 2 months and never even tried to get me to open a checking, savings, or another CD or get a credit card etc.

Well, they got their start as the CIA's credit union, so maybe they're very interested in you... :)

But good to know. Their IRA rates were so bad for so long I didn't consider them, thus my IRA money is locked up elsewhere. But if their IRA rates remain competative come the new year when I can contribute again, I'll consider them.

Hmm, I have CDs there and they have never called me asking about the service.
