txFish1 | | 479 posts since 2023While I do not have any banking experience with NASB that is not a bad rate for liquid money guaranteed for 5 months as it seems like quite a few are lowering rates even though the Fed has not.
enduser | | 711 posts since 2015I been a member of NASB since Aug 2022, and I have not received the rate guarantee offer. They were over 5% APY before, then dropped the rate to 4.95% APY last month without any notice to which it still holds. I keep about $10 there now since this is a under performing account for me. All liquid accounts I have are paying 5.25%, 5.35%, and 5.50% APY respectively.

Ally6770 | | 4,307 posts since 2010I did last May when I had to split a Roth IRA. They took $150,000 of it and matched a rate I was getting for the rest of it. I showed them this site, she looked it up and the manager called corporate and it was approved. That is the only CD I have with them. I am maxed out for IRMAA until March 2025 when I have a large reg CD mature. I have been a customer for many years.
IGR | | 584 posts since 2020Appreciate that. I was approached by "local" CU with similar suggestion. although I have relatively large holdings there in multiple terms, it took me by surprise, I wouldn't know how serious they are and wanted to waste no time bargaining given a large gap between CU current rates and outside opportunities. will give it a try now
