I'll start.

Doctor of Credit is ok. But that's it. Just ok.

CD Valet has some useful information. I look at CD Valet for rates and promos on CDs, then check out DepositAccounts for more details on the FI, such as health ratings, field of membership, etc.

In a prior post someone mentioned hustler money blog. I haven't worked with it enough to see if it's comprehensive, current, and accurate, but there's potential. No jokes about the name required.

If someone posted a high savings or checking rate here at DA, on the following day, Hustler Money Blog would post it and they never once gave DA credit for the find.

To be honest my go to was always DA. Now with Ken settling in with his life partner I would say we could just google and post in on this forum before lending tree closes that down too w/ their threat today on free speech

CD Valet I was on there today check them out some great rates in CDs and other things and I went on Investopedia another great site I went on there today for me it is time to move on.

It's worse than I thought.

I figured that there must be banking message boards 'out there' somewhere I didn't know about.

So... this board needs to be repaired.

We need moderator volunteers. And a moderator hierarchy. And we need somebody who knows somebody official around here to sell the idea.

The way the message boards now operate is not conducive to anything.

So... you DA old timers with high message counts need to get on it, and make it happen.

Let me know when you're making progress. If you need higher level guidance, I'm here for you.
