I am not sure which forum category to post this in, so I will post it in a few:

Now that we can no longer find the best interest rates on liquid accounts here at DA, I need to learn more about Raisin and MaxMyInterest – and their websites are not very educational.

1 – What experiences have y’all had with these sites?

2 – Has your experience been trouble-free?

3 – How well can one control one’s money once one has given it over to either of these places?

4 – One concern always stopped me- some of my POD beneficiaries are charities and not all banks or credit unions accept charities as POD’s – and since I have some large accounts that need multiple POD’s to gain FDIC insurance over $250,000, I can’t have an account opened that does not include ALL of my POD’s So what happens when Raisin or MaxMyInterest shifts funds to a better-yielding account that won’t accept all of the POD’s on the account from which funds are being shifted?
