You seem to be confusing banks with credit unions. There is no shared branch system for banks. There is for credit unions. If you were in a credit union in the shared branch system, you probably could find a shared branch at another credit union near you.

You can make withdrawals by check from your account at one credit union by going to another credit union near you that is in the shared branch system. That check will cost you $5. Whether you can get that as a cashier's check, you will have to call that branch and ask.
