Wells Fargo

I'm surprised Wells Fargo would even be considered in view of a history of fraudulent events and continual systemic acts of bad faith. Although they were fined a number of times, they never made changes in upper management.

I understand your concern. But take a look at this list.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_companies_involved_in_the_Holocaust

Do you use any of the listed companies products? Should you? Plenty of bad acts by companies out there. If we looked for totally clean companies, we would likely not find any products to use. Whether it is Boeing (737Max), Ford (the Pinto), BP or Exxon (oil spills) or issues like slave labor, animal testing, and on and on.

I have no issue if someone wants to boycott a companies products, however, one should not be surprised that others continue to use such products.

Do not forget the Firestone steel belted radial tires, along the same lines as the Ford Pinto…exploding results!,

Wells Fargo was found by some to be a fraud and their shareholders should suffer b/c of that. Break it up and sell it off!

Had one problem when Wells Fargo didn't make a tax payment out of my escrow account (They took over my mortgage when they took over my bank). I received a bill in the mail before the taxes were due which is never the case. Called town tax person and said Wells did not send in payment. Contacted Wells who advised me they would pay the taxes and any penalties if assessed. Wells paid the taxes 2 days later and called me to confirm.

I have the 2% casback on all purchases and had no problems (also got a $200 bonus). Opened a savings account with 50k and received a $700 with no problems. Opened a checking account for a $325 bonus last week with 5k which requires a $1000 DD which I just changed where my pension goes to Wells online for 1 time. Just keep $500 balance no fees.

All transactions/ agreements done at the bank are printed out for you so you can confirm what was done.
1 thing where Wells had to pay as part of a class action is that some refinance charge they charged they did not pass along a volume discount.  I received a $17 check.

I was just rewarded/compensated by a class action lawsuit that just settled---Also they broke a contract on a home equity line of credit I had and reduced the amount available by over 50K---I never did pursue it.

Wells Fargo is great. The best credit cards, only a $500 balance to avoid checking fee, $2500 bonus, they reimbursed an incoming wire fee. ALL banks have shady records not just Wells.
