I was able to join Lone Star Credit Union this week to take advantage of their 60 month 4.55 CD. Membership restriction are tight. My son-in-law teaches high school 8.9 miles from their Dallas Branch. It was within their 10 mile radius. It was easy to apply online, nice customer service for all questions and followup. I have funds coming in mid Nov. Rates won't hold, hoping i can still find something in the 4% range.
