Vanguard announces plans to launch two new short-term Treasury index ETFs (VGUS & VBIL) in the first quarter of 2025. VGUS and VBIL are both expected to launch with an expense ratio of 0.07%. Similar to Treasury money market funds (e.g. VUSXX), these ETFs could provide low-cost exposure to Treasury Bills without having to manually manage a Treasury Bill ladder.
