5-year Treasuries move up today to 4.60%!
What does Goldman Sachs Bank USA do? They raise their 5-year non-callable, new-issue brokered cd rate up to a measly 4.10%.
Treasuries are better!

the brokered non-callable CD rates are non-competitive at the moment. good for the banks if they can get lenders at those rates. they should be required to pay a premium considering the FDIC insurance limits, liquidity, and potential tax disadvantages of their product compared to Treasuries

I notice Toyota Financial Savings Bank in Henderson Nevada is currently offering 1-yr, 2-yr, 3-yr, 4-yr, and 5-yr non-callable, new issue brokered CDs at Fidelity. Besides BMW Bank of North America in Salt Lake City Utah, and Ally Bank (formerly GMAC Bank) in Sandy Utah are there any other “automobile” banks located in the USA which currently offer CDs?
