DepositAccounts still is worth referencing when researching a CD, but not always fully up to date. Also have been using CD VALET, and Kent Jamison Deposit Diary Daily. Two top rates here are not always shown in all locations:

Security State Bank - 4.65% both 6 and 7 months

CLEARPATH FCU - 4.5% for 36 months

FYI - finally did a WIRE OUT at CIT .... all good, except using an intermediary, the form data did not really have a spot for further credit of (my account) .... so had to put it in SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS - - but it worked.

Went to Clearpath FCU website and didn't see this 4.5% 36 month certificate. Can you show me where you saw it.

per Will Ferrell, "Well, that escalated quickly".

Looks like May 29 was the update, per Clearpath web site ..... I had started my post prior to that, and completed it days later .... SORRY. Looks like 4.50 17 mo HUGES FCU is your next best bet

The current rates posted at Clearpath for 36 month certificates are: 3.25% ($50k min), 3.00% ($10k min), and 2.75% ($500 min)
