5.45% 7-Month CD at Chase Bank

Chase Bank is offering a special 5.45% APY 7-month certificate of deposit with a $10,000 minimum deposit. This rate doesn't seem to be offered in all regions of the country. The rate table has 5.45% APY for zip codes in Florida and New York. However, the rate table shows 5.35% APY for zip codes in Texas, California, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

These CD rates require a qualified Chase checking account which excludes Chase College Checking, High School Checking and Chase Basic Checking. If you're interested in this CD and don't already have a Chase checking account, you may want to consider Chase Free Checking with Direct Deposit.
