5.35% 7-Month CD at a Florida CU Continues (Space Coast)

Space Coast Credit Union continues to offer a special 5.35% APY 7-month certificate of deposit. The minimum deposit is $500, and the maximum is $100,000. Money must be new to the credit union. This CD is also available as an IRA and as a business account.

In September I had reported on a 5.55% 5-month CD in addition to this 7-month special that this credit union was advertising. Unfortunately, the 5-month special has ended.

Membership is open to anyone living or working in Brevard, Volusia, Flagler, Indian River or Osceola counties. Please see the bottom of the credit union's about page for more details. Membership requires a $5 one-time fee and a minimum deposit of $5 into the share savings account.

The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 67297). It's a large credit union with $1.5 billion in assets and 145,687 members.
