5.39% 24-Month / 5.28% 12-Month CD at a DC Credit Union Continues (Signal Financial)

Update 11/03/07: These CD rates have dropped to 5.39% APY for the 24-month term and 5.28% APY for the 12-month term.

Signal Financial FCU continues to offering some competitive promotional certificate rates for the 12 and 24 month terms. The 24-month term has a yield of 5.50% APY and the 12-month term has a yield 5.39% APY. The 24-month term has a minimum deposit of $5,000, and the 12-month term has a minimum of $2,500. These require money new to the credit union. These special CDs were suppose to end in September, but they're still listed, and the rate table has an October 2nd date. My last report on these CDs was in August.

Field of membership includes those who live, work, worship or attend school in Washington DC or inside the Beltway in Prince George's County, Maryland.
