4.30% 12-Month / 4.15% 6-Month CD at a Colorado Bank (Community Banks of Colorado)

Community Banks of Colorado is offering two very attractive rates for its CDs, a 4.30% APY 12-month CD and a 4.15% APY 6-month CD. The minimum deposit is $2,000. This doesn't seem to be listed at the bank's website. It was advertised in today's Denver Post. The ad is available online here.

This special appears to require a branch visit. The ad states that you can visit any of their Colorado banks for details. Branches are located in several Colorado cities including Denver, Alamosa, Greenwood Village, Buena Vista, San Luis, Avon, Glenwood Springs, Durango, Aspen and Pueblo.

The bank has been FDIC insured since 1973 (FDIC Certificate # 21132). It has a 4 star rating (excellent) at BauerFinancial based on 3/31/08 data.
