$150 Bonus for Student Checking Account at a PA/WV/OH Bank (WesBanco)

WesBanco is offering bonuses up to $150 for opening a new student checking account and for a few other activities. Here are the steps required to earn $150:

• $50 for opening the student checking account (plus free T-shirt)
• $50 for your first ATM/debit card usage (within 90 days of account opening)
• $50 for keeping checking account opened for 12 months

Minimum opening deposit is $1. I can't find the details about the Student checking account, but according to the reader who sent me info on this deal, this Student checking account is a no-fee account. So it appears to be an easy way to make $150 if you're a student. A commenter mentioned in a previous post that WesBanco does require a branch visit.

My last post on WesBanco was in June when it was offering a $200 checking account bonus. This ended in July.

Branches are located in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The bank is FDIC insured (Certificate # 803).
