4.15% 50-Month Add-On CD at Ent Federal Credit Union in Colorado
Mar 14, 2009 - 8:44 AM by Ken Tumin
Ent Federal Credit Union is offering a special 4.15% APY 50-month certificate. Minimum deposit is $5,000. The rate is listed on the credit union's promotion page as of 1/18/2009.
This special CD is called a Priority Certificate, and it has three nice features:
Ent had a couple of 6% CD promotions in 2006. My last post on Ent was in July 2008 when it was offering a 4.25% 7-month CD. So it has a history of high CD rates.
Membership is open to those who live, work, worship or attend school in Denver, El Paso or Pueblo counties. For the full details please refer to the credit union's Membership Page. Membership requires a minimum initial deposit of $35 to their savings account.
Branches are located in several Colorado cities including Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Fountain, Peyton and Woodland Park.
Ent Federal Credit Union has some strong ratings for soundness: 5 stars (superior) at BauerFinancial and 4 stars (sound) at Bankrate.com. Both ratings are based on 9/30/08 data. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 11570).
