2.50% 14-Month CD at Credit Unions United in Kansas - Local Only

Credit Unions United continues to offer a special 14-month share certificate. The rate has gone down a bit since June, but it remains very competitive at 2.50% APY. Minimum deposit is $500. There are also competitive standard certificate rates including 1.85% APY for 6 months and 2.36% APY for 12 months. These rates are listed in the credit union's share certificates page as of 9/17/09.
Credit union membership is open to persons residing, working or worshiping in the following Kansas counties: Pottawatomie, Jackson, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Douglas, Johnson, Osage, Franklin, Allen, Bourbon, Neosho, Anderson, Linn, Labette, and Cherokee. Branches are located in Topeka and Pittsburg, Kansas.
