Easy $100 Checking Bonus at Pinnacle Bank - NE, KS, MO, WY & CO Only

POSTED ON BY

Pinnacle Bank (NE)

Pinnacle Bank is again offering a $100 bonus for opening its PinnCheck Free checking account online. If you missed the one in March, this is another chance. Like the previous promotions, the bonus doesn’t require much work. The only requirements listed in the bank's promotions page are:

  • Web-exclusive offer for new Pinnacle Bank customers only
  • Minimum amount to open an account is $100
  • Account must be maintained in good standing for the first 90 days
  • Offer valid for PinnCheck Free applicants only

The offer is currently scheduled to expire on December 31, 2013. According to the terms, it's only available to residents of Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming and Colorado.

It's rare to find a $100 checking account bonus for a free account that does not require direct deposit, online bill pay usage or debit card purchases.

PinnCheck Free is a free checking account with no monthly service fees and no minimum balance. It also has unlimited check writing and free online bill pay. Statements must be in electronic format.

Bank Overview

Pinnacle Bank used to have an internet division called BankOn which offered a high-yield online savings account. However, the BankOn website is no longer active.

Most of Pinnacle Bank branches are located in Nebraska. There are also a few branches in Kansas and Missouri. Some of the cities with branches include Abilene, KS; Joplin, MO; and Lincoln and Omaha, NE.

The bank has an overall health grade at DepositAccounts.com A+ with a Texas ratio of 6.62% (excellent) based on September 2013 data. Please refer to our financial overview of Pinnacle Bank for more details. The bank has been a FDIC member since 1934 (FDIC Certificate # 10634).

This was a very easy bonus. I did the earlier one and it was paid promptly on time without me having to ask.

I live in several hundred miles away from the bank locations in Missouri.  Is the account open for all Missouri residents?
