I have had a checking account with American Heritage for about 6 years. The account is free every month as long as I make 2 transactions during the month. I do most of my banking online, but have been satisfied with the environment and attitude of employees on the occasions I have visited a branch. Generally speaking the online experience is acceptable, although the website is a bit more difficult to navigate compared to other banks I have had accounts with. I have tried to access the online chat feature several times, but found it unavailable. Apparently it is available only during normal business hours.
I stopped going to Red Lion Rd before the plandemic. The reason was the girls were putting in complaints about me and referencing certain things they felt not so comfortable. Well be respectful to the dress code and stop dressing up skanks. One dressed up like they were a night club or something.
I did consult a lawyer and the lawyer told me nothing they could do about it and they have to deal with their bullshit.
Coin machines not even worth it. the teller machines not worth it. no one needs to look to see what your amts in your accounts are.
If I had a loan close to being paid off I would go some place else. The programmer needs to do better job.
they indicate you can join, but if you are not within their service area .... they will make it difficult for you. They require you to ALSO get a copy of the application notarized.
Appears to me to ONLY be required to discourage you from joining, AND, as noted, some of their products will not be available to you.
I recommend that if you are NOT within their service area that you just avoid this credit union.
The nicest people work here. You can tell over the phone that they do care and their culture is wholsesome. Having said that, I believe that their systems need upgrading. I have an auto loan with this bank and I tell you, it is very confusing and difficult to make a loan payment on their site. I have to constantly use my other credit union (PSECU) to send AHCU money. Making a payment should be the EASIEST of all financial transactions, however, with American Heritage Credit Union, that does not seem to be the case
