I've been a member for roughly 15 years and have had great service consistently. I've had CDs there the entire time and rates are great relative to other NCUA / FDIC insured institutions.
I recently changed my accounts to Aventa, with a savings as backup and a checking. The $2.00 fee for drawing from savings to checking is ok...my last bank and the one I plan to use in the future charge nothing. But get a few transactions going such as during a vacation and all of the sudden despite having money you get a $35 insufficient funds charge despite having the funds there and available. I even waited a few days afterward during vacation to use my debit card just to make sure I was not in the wrong. So what would any customer do? Call, thinking this must just be a mistake. I was met with rudeness and a very condescending manager from Colorado Springs who insisted i was wrong. I tried to go talk personally to the local branch in Pueblo but never got anywhere...maybe because of the "we don't really care" attitude of the staff at the parent branch up north. This was a terrible banking experience, my worst yet. The only good aspect is the phone app. I suggest you use another credit union, this one has not been friendly, that is primarily what I look for when banking.
