Heritage Bank, Inc. is headquartered in Erlanger and is the 11th largest bank in the state of Kentucky. It is also the 717th largest bank in the nation. It was established in 1990 and as of March of 2022, it had grown to 199 employees at 19 locations. Heritage Bank, Inc. has an A health rating.
I banked at Heritage Bank for many years in my early adulthood. They have several locations throughout Northern Kentucky, and have strong relationships with many local businesses. However, I personally used them for my personal checking and savings accounts.
The good points about Heritage Bank are that they have great customer service. The bank tellers and phone reps are always friendly and eager to help. The fees on checking and savings accounts are good and standard in the industry. There are many local Heritage Bank ATMs so you can withdraw cash without a fee.
However, ultimately, I had to withdraw most of my funds from Heritage Bank. This is because I was happier using online banks that will refund my ATM fees. That way I can use any ATM that is convenient for me and don’t have to drive to a specific ATM. Also, there was no real online or mobile banking capabilities at this bank. I preferred a bank that allowed me to conduct most banking transactions from my phone or computer.
Heritage Bank is a friendly and established local bank that is best for people who prefer face-to-face interactions with their bank, rather than online services.
