I have had an account with Heritage Federal Credit Union since I was a kid in school and have stuck by them as a secondary account even when I left Evansville. They have ALWAYS treated me respectfully and have assisted me many times. There have been two times in the last few years where they very much impressed me. I had made rather large purchases, which were definitely made by me. The purchases went through with my debit card just fine, but a member from the bank DID contact me anyway shortly after to ensure that the purchases were accurate because it was unusual activity. There was also a time recently where there was a hold on my account for a purchase that WAS NOT made by me, and a representative took care of it for me very quickly. She actually contacted me back after our initial conversation to let me know that they were looking into it further because it was a strange transaction (just seconds after a purchase that I DID make at the same location). She had the hold removed and I never had the transaction pull from my account. They are an amazing credit union and I will never close my account with them. I recommend them to everyone I know in Evansville.
