Integrity Bank & Trust Increases Kasasa Cash Balance Cap

Colorado-based Integrity Bank & Trust (Integrity B&T) has increased the qualification balance cap on its Kasasa Cash account, which now earns 2.02% APY on qualifying balances up to $25k. Qualifying balances over $25k earn 0.25% APY, with non-qualifying balances earning 0.05% APY.

The Kasasa Cash account was added to Integrity B&T’s product line in April 2015 earning the current 2.02% APY, but with a balance cap of only $10k. I wrote about its predecessor (Hi-Rewards Checking) in November 2009, when the account earned 2.84% APY up to $50k. At its rate apex in March 2008, the Hi-Rewards Checking earned an eye-catching 5.01% APY (up to $50k).

Kasasa Cash Qualifying Requirements

  • Have at least 10 debit card purchases.
  • Have at least one Direct Deposit or ACH.
  • Maintain a valid email address and enroll to receive eStatements.

The Kasasa Cash account has no minimum balance requirement or monthly service fees. It requires a minimum of $100 to open and there is a limit of one account per Social Security Number. Nationwide ATM fees will be reimbursed up to $25 ($4.99 per transaction) each monthly qualification cycle.

Availability

Headquartered in Monument, Integrity Bank & Trust offers its Kasasa Cash account to all U.S. citizens, 18 years or older, in Colorado.

The Kasasa Cash account can be opened online, or in person at any of three Colorado branches located in Colorado Springs (2) and Monument.

According to CSR, even though the Kasasa Cash can be opened by out-of-area individuals, an in-branch visit is required complete the transaction.
