(A monthly automatic transfer of at least $10 from a LifeGreen Checking to the LifeGreen Savings for 12 months is required to earn the 1% annual savings bonus.) There is no monthly fee associated with this savings account. The interest rate on LifeGreen Savings may vary by state, but currently it is 0.01% APY in all states.

Have to register with that and then open a lifegreen checking by 5/31.
Says enroll in online statement and use their checkcard within 30 days to make 10 or more purchases.
The $400 bonus will be deposited directly within 120 days. The hard to read fine print says a $25 minimum opening deposit.
It says the address on the mailer must match my address on the account.
$8-10 monthly fee but it can be avoided with $1,500 average monthly balance legal disclaimer number1 in your LifeGreen Checking account
OR
ACH direct deposit, such as a recurring payroll or government benefit deposit, of at least $500 single deposit or $1,000 combined deposit, to your LifeGreen Checking account legal disclaimer number2.
For the monthly fee waiver, we count all ACH direct deposits that post to your account during the account statement period, excluding the last day of the period. ACH direct deposits that post on the last day of the statement period are counted in the following statement period.
That last part says ALL ACH DIRECT DEPOSITS which suggests all ACHs would work?? I think.
Ive seen these deals in the past but did not do them because I cannot do a direct deposit but if they count an ach in as a direct deposit, I can easily do that.
It would seem to be a no brainer even if I got stuck with the $8 a month fee for 6 months. Because $400-48 still= $352. But, It seems to suggest that any ACH will work for direct deposit so I think I should get to keep the full $400.
Says to open by May 31. Seems to suggest you can do it online, in person or by phone.
So seems like a no brainer for the $400. Many of the deals are for $200 with a $50 referral bonus and most of the comments are littered with people begging for others to use their referrals.
A lot of people did their 10 transactions at Amazon as gift card buys. I presume $1 at a time.
I did not read anything about if checks are free or even mandatory.

They were unwilling or unable to give me my account number over the phone. I have to wait for it by snail mail since I cannot receive texts, Or I could go in the branch.
$25 fee for closing before 6 months. No min balance.
No checks unless you ask and I presume pay for them.
I just have to wait for the debt card, I can enroll online for statements now, return the signature form my snail mail because I don't use texts. SMH.
I just have to remember to do a monthly $500 ach in and then back out. I can't imagine keeping the account open after 6 months because I would have to continue with the $500 direct deposit. I just cant set that up yet without the account number.
Again, mine was a personalized snail mail piece. Unsure how they got my name but it may have been because I signed up for consumer reports money newsletter, free sample. Long ago.
Fortunately they refunded the fee. They said I could change my cycle date but I just left it. I only opened the account for the bonus.
I had toyed with the idea of keeping the account after 6 months but this little fee has me rethinking that. They are the closest bank to my house and they have a drive thru. But, I just don't need it 99% of the time so I should probably close the account after 11/7 or something so as not to have to worry about the stupid ACH every month.
