I tried to use Wright Patterson Credit Union to finance a condo I was buying. Before I made an offer, the loan officer I was working with (Aaron Snow) was very unresponsive. I had to setup an account in order to use them as my financing option. It took over 2 weeks just to setup a checking account! There were several issues that they ran into as we approached the proposed closing date. After Aaron made several false promises, I was informed on our proposed closing day that they would not proceed with my mortgage. To make matters worse, they did not refund the deposit I made. I ended up losing out on my dream condo because of Wright Patterson!
Stay as far away from Wright Patterson Credit Union as possible! A nightmarish experience…
They used to be a good bank but have definitely fallen off. They care more about the money than helping their own customers out. They've sent me debt cards where the strip wears out in a month. Then you can never get customer service on the phone. Between having bad business hours and having a long wait time for calls. Plus they don't help their customers out when they have legitimate probelms
