Great and balanced answers from Gross, thanks PB.

I still think that (1) stable value fund is a safer hedge against the equity market than bonds and (2) U.S. continues to have the best stock invesing opportunities and growth potentials.

Just my two cents without retribution.

PB,

I clicked your link and the article showed for a couple of seconds, but then my Norton security software went into action and blocked it. Apparently the site caused my computer to be attacked by someone or something called "recentness." And my Norton log described the severity of the "intrusion attack" as "high." Did you and 51hh experience anything like this? I would have liked to have read it, and I'm sure others would as well, but after what happened, I thought others ought to be warned. You might also want to check the log of your security software.

PB: I'm relieved that your security software found it safe. It is peculiar how Norton flagged it for an intrusion attack. Perhaps it was just something specific to the time I tried to access it? Nevetheless, I'm not about to try again.

I had no security problems reported when I accessed the site and I was on it quite a while.

My most recent McAfee software update was this morning. Also, I just tried accessing the site again and had no problems. Also, McAfee's Site Advisor feature, which I have active on my PC and isues warnings if I am about to navigate to a questionable site, just gave me the following:

This link is safe. We tested it and didn't find any significant security issues.

I don't know why Norton is blocking it. McAfee is not reporting any problems.

Wil, a couple of comments:

1) There have been instances reported where a message pops up which is formatted to resemble something from legitimate security software.

In those instances it is best to close the browser completely in spite of a warning message to not leave the page. As i understand it, sometimes following the instructions in the hoax message may turn your anti-virus protection off and a virus may be downloaded to your PC.

When in doubt, I immediately bring up Task Manager on my PC and end the online task, thus closing the browser safely.

2) FYI, some security software gives false positives. That was the case in this DA thread. Ken checked out the site with McAfee, as I did in my post#3 and in both cases, the affected sites were green-lighted by McAfee. Post #5 in that thread may be helpful to you.
