HollyHolly, you and gbp84 are correct about your comments regarding the CD rates listed under the section titled Compare CD rates at top national banks within the Fortune article referenced here: https://www.depositaccounts.com/community/news/#story61126

Apparently their assertion "Rates Updated Weekly" is not valid. The CD rates they post: Ally 9-month @ 4.00%, Discover 24-month @ 4.10%, Marcus 14-month @ 4.50%, and Synchrony 13-month @ 4.35% are all older rates which have expired.

In the case of the Ally 9-month @ 4.00% it expired 3/28/2025, the Discover 24-month @ 4.10% expired 4/1/2025, the Marcus 14-month @ 4.50% expired 4/17/2025, and the Synchrony 13-month @ 4.35% expired 5/6/2025.
