5.50% 14-Month CD at a California CU - special early withdrawal feature (Financial Partners)

Financial Partners Credit Union continues to offer a special 5.50% APY 14-month CD that's called the My Choice Plus Certificate. The minimum deposit is $1,000. Any time after the first 7 months you are allowed a single penalty free withdrawal. This special is also available as an IRA certificate.

This CD promotion has been going on for awhile. I had first reported on it back in November when they were offering other CD specials.

Field of membership includes those who live, work, attend school, or attend church in Orange County or in one of several cities in Los Angeles County. Membership requires a minimum $25 deposit in the savings account.

The credit union is NCUA insured. It has $710.4 million in assets and over 54,061 members.
