5.60% 12-Month CD at a Texas CU (West Texas)

West Texas Credit Union is offering a special 5.60% APY 1 year certificate of deposit. The minimum deposit is $1,000. Longer term CD rates remain competitive with a yields of 5.40% APY. This is a little improvement to the 5.50% CD that they were offering in May.

Membership is open to those who live or work in El Paso County, Texas. Membership requires a $5 fee and a minimum deposit of $15 into the share savings account.

The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 60711). It has $74.6 million in deposits and 21,191 members.
