Woodlands Bank is offering a 5.75% APY 6 and 12-month certificate of deposit as part of a grand opening special. The minimum deposit is $500. This special doesn't seem to be listed at the bank's website. It was advertised in today's Savannah Now newspaper. The ad is available online here.

According to the ad, the rate is available at the bank's Pooler and Richmond Hill branches. It likely requires a branch visit. Please see their Georgia branch page for location details. The bank is FDIC insured (FDIC Certificate # 32571).
